The Williams Drive Study partnered CAMPO and the City of Georgetown to evaluate transforming Williams Drive into a safe, reliable, and vibrant multimodal corridor with defined and dynamic activity centers. In conjunction with CAMPO’s Platinum Planning Program, the Study developed a plan that applies the elements of CAMPO’s Program, and recommends projects and implementation plans that enhance multimodal transportation, safety, mobility, connectivity, and economic development; establishing the area as a premier gateway into Georgetown.
CAMPO and the City recognized the importance of working closely with the community throughout the study to identify solutions the community values. Public input was collected and incorporated into each phase of the study as well as the Study Report.
