What the Study Will Accomplish
CAMPO and TxDOT will use public input and technical evaluations to develop proposed improvements to FM 973. The study will include an analysis of current and projected traffic volumes, existing and future land use, crash hotspots, environmental features, and needs and concerns identified by stakeholders and the public. The analysis and community input will be used to identify and design future improvements and complete an environmental analysis.
Public Involvement
Community input is a key part of this study and will include public open houses and commenting. The first open house and public commenting begins April 22, 2026. Attend in person on April 22 between 4-7 pm or participate online through May 26, 2026. Email the 973 Team to learn more and ask questions.
