Background
CAMPO and the City of Bastrop are partnering to develop a plan for multimodal improvements for the Chestnut Street corridor. This Study includes the entirety of SL 150/Chestnut Street from SH 71/SH 21 at Childers Drive to SH 71/SH 95 at Tahitian Drive. The Study will consider improvements to safety and mobility, promote economic development and placemaking, and support environmental stewardship. Using community input, the Study will identify multimodal improvements and recommendations for pedestrians, biking, transit, and other vehicles within the corridor.
